Hello there! I’m Sam, a Sandgrounder born and raised. To answer the natural question, which may have crossed your mind: yes, you will be hearing a lot from me, I’m sorry.
Sam is a Liverpool lover!
But let me tell you about myself first. Well there really isn’t that much to tell. I’m a dramatically musically youtuberey (yes I can make up words too) kind of guy, who also loves Muse and Green Day. And Werther’s originals. I’ll be your friend forever if you give me one =D
Now, some of you may not have the privilege of knowing what a Sandgrounder is. Or why it sounds like some Class A drug. Well, to me and a few other thousand people it means you’re from Southport and that’s not entirely a bad thing!
Southport is a seaside resort in the North West… ok you may not have heard of it… but it’s near Blackpool! And actually becoming quite popular, which has got me excited! From the booming life of the town, to the friends I adore, this city is simply amazing and although I sometimes complain about it (quite a lot really) I know I couldn’t imagine my childhood anywhere else.
And you think you've seen it all...
I also go to the wonderful city of Liverpool, which of course needs no introduction. Capital of Culture for Europe in 2008? Liverpool. Home of the Beatles? Liverpool. SUPER LAMBANAS (which are lambs conjoined with bananas in a whirlwind of hypnotic colours)- Liverpool. But yes, this city is big and I can’t help but love it. But if you really want to know more about Liverpool, MyCityDeal had a competition and this is my little video about it =D
Amazing Phil, the holder of this competition, introduced me to these guys, and I’m completely hooked!
It’s only been a couple of weeks, but I’ve become addicted to this site where me and my friends scour for bargains! Now, as luck may have it, I’ve become a part of the team! Woohoo!
So what does this mean for you awesomely delightful people? Well, apart from a headache of blog posts: deals!
Being in my teens, I know what it’s like to not be able to afford stuff, especially with friends. This makes me angry and sometimes hungry so I’m going to strive to lower the costs of the things that you enjoy! Also to give you a taste of it I’ll be covering and reviewing them!
