Time for… Accessories!

Following on from my previous post, and with the winter chills now getting a grip on the UK; I thought it was time to stock up on the necessary knits and faux fur, to not only accompany your outfit, but to prevent you from freezing outside!

I absolutely love accessories! You can keep yourself warm with a chunky knit scarf or gloves; yet still match it up with your outfit. There are so many options out there; either cheap, bright coloured, thick, animal printed… and the complete opposite of all those points.

I’ve already got my big chunky cream snood, lilac gloves and maroon coloured wool beret out of the drawer and ready for every morning. Yes, that’s a random mix of colours, but sometimes it’s just too darn cold to care about colour clashes!

I took to the high street shops online and found what I believe are some good staple accessory pieces to own for this winter season. I think I’ll be keeping an eye out for some new gloves now I’ve owned up to the lilac pair that goes with…well…nothing. If it keeps you warm, then that’s the main thing!
