There are certain things that seem to bring out the child-like qualities that we all harbour deep inside; the urge to explore, the need to experience the new and try different things. As we grow older, we learn to become somewhat inhibited; as we become more aware of the expectations of adults in society and how we should behave. This may sound like the beginnings of a blog tying to be deep and meaningful but I can assure you it’s not.
As said before, there are certain things which seem to bring out the child in all of us and I saw the perfect example of this whilst shopping over the weekend. We’ve all seen them in shopping centres, airports or in department stores, and we’ve probably all had a go on one as well. They rollers really do knead deeply into the muscle and you can almost feel it relieving the knots as it works, which is extremely satisfying. The track is extremely well designed to be suitable to varying heights and is capable of reaching the lowest part of back up to your shoulders.
The rollers are also capable of spot massaging by letting you focus on specific areas of the back and shoulders by adjust the width of the rollers, and you can also pause their movement so that it is massaging the areas you want it to. I found this specific ability especially helpful as regardless of your size you can concentrate on problem areas, which is why it works so well for me. Overall, I find it extremely soothing and very useful in relieving tension in my back and shoulder muscles; and the neck massagers really seems to put me at ease and almost has a calming effect on my body and even my mood. The massager ensures you receive a firm yet relaxing massage, and the soothing heat functionality really does help ease stiffness in the muscles.
Whether you have built up tension from the everyday stresses of life, or you suffer from back pain – I would most definitely recommend this massager or one of the other HoMedics massagers. It really does help ease pains and aches; delivering a great deal of relief to the body, and in turn – relaxation to the mind. I find this a genuine therapeutic aid, which does exactly what massages are supposed to do – de-stress and leave you feeling fully relieved and revitalised. It’s almost like having your own private masseuse – without the other half getting jealous!
Unfortunately for me, I somehow failed to notice that Groupon ran deals with HoMedics and although I got a decent price I really missed out on saving a whole lot of money. I paid close to £120 more than I should!
