Student Film Festival – London

The Student Film Festival is a unique organisation which aims to bring the best talent from international student film into the professional and public domain. Over the next few days (3rd -5th Feb 2012) the SFF will be holding the first London-based international film festival, solely for student film. With London being one of the world’s creative hubs; it is a ripe venue for bringing together student filmmakers, producers, critics, and audiences.

The three day festival of workshops, panel discussions and screenings is directed at young emerging filmmakers around the world will put a particular emphasis on industry events, which will aim to show students key technical skills and how to navigate the professional arena. It will also bring together musicians, filmmakers and mavericks to spread the joy amongst a range of film inspired fun events from midnight games to live scores there will be something for everyone.

We here at Groupon understand and support the development of new talent and the opportunities the SFF provides to student filmmakers is something which resonates with our entire ethos. The SFF London film screenings will be one of multiple opportunities for filmmakers to showcase their talent, as well as creating space for professional guidance and cross-industry relationship building, sowing seeds for future development within the filmmaking industry.
