Groupon’s MD Deals With Daily Discounts On ‘The Apprentice: You’re fired!’

So then, who watched The Apprentice last night? For those of you who missed it, last night’s show had the remaining 7 candidates competing in a challenge where Lord Sugar ordered them go out, find, and negotiate the most profitable luxury deals to be featured on a daily deals website.

As well as the usual rollercoaster ride of entertainment the show provides, it gave an interesting insight into to the process of how these deals are struck and the hard work that can go into each one.

In the conclusion of the show, Gabrielle and Stephan were heavily criticised for ‘running around like a couple of headless chickens’ throughout the task and failing to find enough high end luxury deals suitable for the website. This ultimately lead to both of them hearing the dreaded words – “You Fired!”

Over 6.2m viewers saw the latest firing, with 2.29m tuning in to catch the ever popular BBC Two spin off show The Apprentice: You’re Fired!. For those of you who watched You’re Fired! last night you would have seen the two newly-fired candidates receive a grilling in front of a studio audience from host Dara O’Brian, and the panel consisting of Karen Brady, Ed Byrne and Groupon‘s very own Tobias Tschoetsch – Managing Director of Groupon UK.
