LONDON, 21st September, 2012 — Roll up roll up! Groupon UK today announced that its members will have exclusive access to the opening night of one the year’s most hotly anticipated West End shows, Cabaret, PLUS the chance to attend an exclusive post-show drinks soirée.
LONDON, 10th September 2012 – With the UK’s most action packed summer in years finally over, new research from Groupon UK reveals that after the bunting has been packed away, the last gold medal awarded and the last Union Jack Flag waved, it’s back to the daily grind for the majority of us. Three quarters of Brits believe they’re stuck in a daily routine. They would love to try a new experience, but are being held back by a lack of cash and confidence.
Whether you personally use social media or not, there is no denying that UK consumers love it. With millions of consumers logging on to the internet and using social media every month, it’s no surprise that businesses have flocked to services like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Many small to mid-sized businesses see social media as the playground of the big brands such as ASOS, John Lewis and Marks and Spencer. But social media is all about conversation and engagement, so if anything it’s more important for SMEs.
In our recent survey many business partners asked for more information on social media. Requests ranged from a simple user guide to measurement and tracking; so we set out to produce a basic ‘how to’ guide to enable our partners to make the most of the key social media sites. What we are not aiming to do here is produce a definitive guide to social media – how one business uses social media will be totally different to another. But we do hope that this mini guide will answer lots of questions you asked.
