This Facebook competition is being run by Groupon UK & Ireland.
Entry to the competition implies acceptance of these terms and conditions and is legally binding.
Our Christmas Prize Facebook Application will run from 1st December – 23rd December.
Daily competitions which run on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday will finish 5pm on the day the competition begins.
Daily competitions which begin on a Friday will run for three days and finish 10am the following Monday.
The competition status update will provide details of the official closing time and date.
Any entries received after the closing time and date ends may not be accepted.
Entries must take place on one of our 57 Groupon UK or Ireland Facebook pages. Competition entries on other Facebook pages will not be accepted.
Employees of Groupon UK & Ireland, its agencies, or anyone professionally associated with the promotion is excluded from entering the promotion. The promoter (Groupon UK) reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
Facebook entrants must fulfil the correct requested competition entry procedure outlined in the competition status update. Failure to do so will make the competition entry void.
Once the competition has ended, all correct answers or actions will be shortlisted. Then one of these entries will be chosen at random. Winners will then be notified in the comment section beneath the answers.
Prize
In order for the winner to claim their prize, details requested on Facebook must be emailed to sm.support@groupon.co.uk within one week of the announcement. Any emails received after one week may not be accepted.
Please allow up to two weeks for prize delivery. This two week time frame is based on when the winner’s requested details have been sent to sm.support@groupon.co.uk
The prizes are as stated on the Facebook status update, and no cash alternative will be offered.
Credit
Credit prizes are either £30 (Irish equivalent €35) or £50 (Irish equivalent €60). These credit values are final.

Groupon UK shall be entitled to terminate or modify the promotion or to modify these rules at any time prior to the closing date by publishing any such modification or termination on any Groupon UK website.
In the event of a dispute, the decision of Groupon UK shall be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
This free competition is promoted across other websites. The winner’s name will be made available upon request.
Facebook Application
By installing our Facebook Application, you consent to the publication of your name on the Facebook Application. In using the Facebook Application, you are accepting permission to access your basic information and profile information (including but not limited to name, email, employment status, birthday, profile picture, gender, Facebook networks, user ID, Facebook friends) and use such information provided to us.
By using the Facebook Application, you have provided us with permission to post status messages, notes, photos and videos on your Facebook wall. The Facebook Application may require you to invite Facebook friends to use it. Those friends you select will have the Facebook Application link posted on their wall. All the above is subject to the Terms and Conditions of use applicable to Facebook.
By installing the application you have also provided us with permission to send information to your Facebook email address. We reserve the right, in our absolute discretion to cancel the promotion without notice; to disqualify entrants whom we consider, or have reasonable grounds to believe, have not complied with the rules or any entrant whom we reasonably believe has interfered with the fair running of the competition.
If any winner is subsequently disqualified, we reserve the right to choose a substitute winner at random who will be notified by email. By allowing and installing our app you agree to be subscribed to Groupon’s daily deal newsletter, subject to Groupon’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
You can uninstall the Facebook Application at any time. When you have uninstalled the application your information may still be used. These terms and conditions will continue to apply to past use by you.
Our Facebook application may experience unforeseen server problems or technical issues which may affect part of all of the Facebook application functionality. Groupon does not accept responsibility for any entries that are damaged, lost, delayed, or otherwise prevented from being sent for any reason whatsoever. Nor does Groupon accept any responsibility for entrants who are unable to access www.groupon.co.uk or any of our official ancillary applications or sites so as to participate in our promotions, and neither does Groupon accept responsibility for entries which, for technical or any other reasons, are late or lost because of unavailability of email or web connection, or any other problem that may delay such participation.
