With a change in leadership at Groupon in the last few weeks, we now have two interim co-CEOs – Executive Chairman Eric Lefkofsky and Vice Chairman Ted Leonsis, who will share the CEO duties.
The latter, Ted Leonsis, is a very interesting man indeed. He owns an NBA and NHL franchise, and he was one of the major figures behind rise and success of AOL – a true veteran of the “dotcom” bubble. He also has his very own, a widely popular blog, ‘Ted’s Take’, on the US based sport and entertainment site – The Monumental Network.
Located in the heart of south city centre Dublin, the Whitefriar Grill greets you with a warm welcome. The original and exciting menu combined with a modern and relaxed atmosphere, makes for one of the best spots for a delicious chilled-out dining experience.
Welcome to “The Week that Was…”, our weekly update of Groupon’s coverage in the media.
The Daily Mail and their readers really seem to be like us at the moment, with a second mention of us in the space of two weeks! And, although not strictly Groupon coverage – our friends at our brand agency received a prestigious industry award, which is definitely cause for celebration. Check out some of the coverage below.
It’s Waffle Day, so we thought we’d share another great recipe from one of our Grouponites! Here’s one Analyst Bernardo uses on a regular basis. Unfortunately, there aren’t any in the office today (sad face); but we’ve been assured by Bernardo that these are simple to make and delicious!
Following our post last Friday announcing the launch of our Groupon Grassroots initiative, our next Social Innovation update explains how we like to utilise the passion of the people at Groupon, within our “People, Passion, Platform” philosophy.
In line with the Groupon Grassroots initiative we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our Employee Volunteer Programme. This is designed to give Groupon staff the opportunity to volunteer in a variety of programmes that make a difference in local communities, and help other charitable causes.
