With more than 20 years experience, Le Cordon Bleu trained Patissier & Chocolatier David Leslie knows what he’s talking when it comes to baking so who better to teach me the tricks of the trade than the man himself. With the festive season upon us, I really fancied having a go at making something ‘foodie’ yet festive. What’s cuter at Christmas than a little box of multi-coloured macarons? Not much. In summer this year, David’s macarons were totally in Vogue. No, they actually were…in June 2013 this very class featured on the Vogue UK ‘hot list’. So with a winter chill in the air and a spring in my step I made my way to central London to Discover Chocolate.
