Showcasing the manufacturing process as well at the beverage in question, Junipalooza said three cheers to the drink of the moment, taking gin lovers on the journey from berry to bottle with a little help from a few tasters along the way.

Sony Photography Awards Exhibition & Gala Dinner

From now until 18th May, Somerset House is hosting the Sony World Photography Awards; an exhibition displaying the winning and shortlisted entries from this year’s competition. With 139,000 submissions from photographers all around the world, the competition was tougher than ever. This visually and emotionally stunning work is split into categories ranging from photojournalism, to fine art, to lifestyle.

Confiscation Cabinets at The V&A Museum of Childhood

From now until June 2014, V&A Museum of Childhood hosts Confiscation Cabinets; a collection of items gathered over 30 years of subbing in schools by artist and teacher Guy Tarrant. I read about this exhibition with immediate interest. I have always been fascinated by the laws of the playground and was keen to see if any of the toys and games I used to have had made the collection.

A Chip Off The C-old Block

Fittingly set in the glimmering, glassy surrounds of Canary Wharf; last weekend the annual Ice Sculpting Festival brought the big freeze to the city of London. 10 international teams took on the elements to sculpt, shave and shine their way towards creating icy masterpieces for 3 different categories. Staggered across three days, the cool competition covered ‘River Life’, ‘Freestyle’ and my theme of choice; ‘Fabulous Fashion’.
